This home was originally constructed in the early 20th Century in the Hancock Park neighborhood in Los Angeles.

SCAAA worked with the new owners to design a renovation and addition that was determined to be appropriate by the local historic review board in charge of maintaining the strict neighborhood-specific preservation guidelines. In the process of permitting the gut renovation and addition, SCAAA sought approval for bonus floor area, covered parking and zoning side yard adjustments.

The renewed and expanded home now fits more appropriately into its neighborhood and is ready to meet the needs of a growing family in the next chapter of its life.
